This Is Not The Life I Ordered Is a reflection of our internal conflicts and significant moments in the past year that entails; hate crime, loss, grief, uncertainty, fear, trauma, illness, isolation and intimacy.
This is about the many ways life has tried us, and how it continues to do so. And how, in-spite of it all, we still choose to calmly preen our feathers with our beaks full of survival.
Something very genuine and human.
In this book, we hope to show that even in our discomfort, there is weird joy. To communicate it to the pages with all its truthful chaos intact.
This collection of poetry and prose has the pursuit of experiencing the unsaid in between words uttered. We hope that these words accompany the feelings that demand to be felt in a comfortable wisdom of what it means to navigate life as young adults.
